Sesame, Honey and Beef Skewers Recipe From the Delicious Mountain Chalet Company

When it comes to this canapé, I always allow 3-4 per person, mainly because Stu quite often has to 'test' one or two! You could also cut the beef into thin strips, about 4 or 5cms long and thread them onto the skewer in an 'S' shape.

1. Cut the beef into 0.5 cm cubes, hopefully getting about 80 pieces

2. Mix all the other ingredients together to make a marinade and mix in the beef cubes, leave for 8 hours or as long as possible

3. In a hot frying pan, fry one or two pieces to test them and adjust seasoning as necessary

4. Thread 2 pieces of beef onto each cocktail stick and either fry in a hot pan or grill on a high heat, turning once. They hardly need cooking at all, especially if you want them a bit pink in the middle

5. Serve warm on a plate with the dip in a small bowl and some chopped coriander scattered on over them
