Our own Meribel Chalet Cookbook
We take great pride in the dishes that we serve in catered Chalet La Chouette. Both for Stuart and for myself, good food is as much a part of a luxury chalet holiday as the skiing itself, and our guests don't disagree. In fact, it is very common for people to ask us for our ski chalet recipes, and for the inspirations which underlie our catering. We have a huge repertoire of dishes to choose from, but here are some of our absolute favourites for you to try at home, taken straight from our very own chalet host cookbook.
I have worked in professional kitchens for over twenty years, and I make full use of this experience in all of the chalet recipes I serve. The chalet holidays we offer are in every sense a luxury escape, and I hope they we've been able to convey this in the Delicious Mountain cookbook: there are lots of decadent treats and every dish is prepared and presented with the care it deserves. To recreate these dishes at home, you will need the very best ingredients, as well as the time and patience that great cuisine always demands.
